SEG San Antonio 2019 Talks SeismicZone

SeismicZone Discussions Heating Up in San Antonio

The biggest event of the year for subsurface data management, the 2019 Annual Meeting of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists proved to be a hot time in San Antonio, Texas.  Digitalization is still the hot topic for the E&P industry, and many of the sessions include talks focused on machine learning and data analytics.

What’s more, proprietary data owners at the show were able to see first hand how SeismicZone facilitates a more cost effective and timely brokerage process, enabling them to get a faster return on their investment.  In addition, data users have instant access to quality inspection to verify the integrity of the seismic data they wish to license.

Of course, the foundation for all of this talk is the data itself. Without quality, reliable and accessible subsurface data, artificial intelligence cannot be, well, intelligent.  Katalyst Data Management was excited to be part of the digital transformation conversation when it comes to data integrity and accessibility.  Our signature iGlass solution plays a pivotal role in harnessing the power of multi-cloud environments and metadata management to funnel the volumes of data required into machine learning platforms.

We were very excited to be in San Antonio as part of our Digitize the World Tour.  At SEG 2019, participants saw the latest on enhancements to our iGlass solution for subsurface data management, and how this translates to the digital transformation journey.  We also have some exciting updates in the works for our online data marketplace and e-brokerage SeismicZone.com.

Our team of subsurface data management experts were pleased share some insights to the crowd in a variety of in-booth presentations:
